R.Rivera Reflection #4

Creating the course management system website gave me a better prospective of online classrooms.  Although I have been exposed to Livetext and Moodle previously, I never realized how

much helpful it can be compared to the basic webpage creator.  I liked the rubrics which will help me grade most of the online assignments.  As I create assignments and files with posted dates and due dates, it will automatically be added to the classroom calendar of events on the CourseSite page.

In addition to the numerous course management system sites, there are many internet tools that are available to help build this site.  The Diigo internet tool helps me to bookmark the important resources I use to create and enhance my class site in CourseSites.  I would usually send myself the website address through email so that I can easily access the address on any device connected to the internet.  It eleviates the stress of bookmarking it on my mobile device, then continue working on it on my cell phone.  Diigo also allows me to make notes and emphasize the purpose of bookmarking it.

  1. Diigo sounds like a site that I should use. I have so many bookmarks on each of my devices. I can never remember the URL of the ones I want to use when I am on a different device.
