Still adjusting after two weeks of vacation time, mentally I am awake but physically I am exhausted. This is only the second day of school and I am already feeling overwhelmed. Trying to balance work, family, and school again is like being introduced to a new internet tool where it takes some time to understand, learn, and adjust to. Eventually, after some getting use to, using the internet tool becomes easier every day... in this case balancing family, school, and work.
Besides feeling overwhelmed, I am excited to bring all the useful information and literacy websites my fellow peers have introduced me to into my classroom. I have learned a lot these past few weeks such as different ways to present information through Prezi and Powtoons, which was introduced by one of my peers. For the next few days I know I will be learning a lot more about Teaching with the Internet and I am super excited.

I am also trying to adjust. But I really think it's a perception of things- want it that bad to keep on keeping on!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to know we are all on the same "boat". It definitely takes a moment to get back into the swing of things after a nice long break. The work never ends so we must keep on trucking along.
ReplyDeleteI am also trying to adjust back into "work" mode. The break was nice- but back to reality. The finish line is ahead, we'll get there eventually. Keep on keeping on! :) Thanks for sharing!
