I am currently researching the different aspects of GoogleEarth and I came across different sources that share lesson plans to use specifically with this tool. I wish this was around while I was in elementary school reading stories about different places and imagining traveling without any real idea of the distance. GoogleEarth brings us closer than ever to faraway fieldtrips.

Halfway There
I have to admit that I am glad to know that I am not the only one that feels a bit overwhelmed by the workload, but I am happy that we are all holding strong to complete the course. Through personal experience, I was aware of the stress involved of condensing a semester's material into a summer session, but I never thought I would feel the fast pace and intensity of an intercession class. I think a lot has to do with the fact that I have been in vacation mode being on Christmas break. But alas, we are reaching the halfway point and I am glad to report that I am not giving up.

I am quite unfamiliar with using Google Earth. I'm feeling a bit intimidated by our upcoming assignment. Good idea to check it out now!
ReplyDeleteI, too, have been exploring Google Earth and I am finding the possibilities it has to offer. But I am also quite intimidated to use it to create something of my own.
