Reyes Reflection #8

I will be honest and say that I haven't done much with Google Earth thus far.  I spent the entire weekend doing work for the two graduate courses I am taking this intercession.  I spent this entire evening grading papers and preparing for the end of 2nd quarter for work.  Somewhere in the midst of all of that I found time to take care of household duties and spend time with my family.  No one said it would be easy, but I sure am looking forward to a break.  I'm sure I am not alone.

But, as always, we must move forward.  I do have an idea for my Geo Narrative.  Hopefully, this will work out with the assignment requirements.  My reading class has just learned about different types of maps.  I would like to create a Geo Narrative to help them understand their place in the world a bit more.  Showing them the maps was somewhat out of their reach--especially for those who haven't done much traveling outside of their village.

Hopefully, my Internet connection cooperates when I implement my Geo Narrative in class.

Have a good night, everyone!

  2. I admire you for taking two courses! I'm finding it hard enough with just one and your taking two. Well, we are almost at the end just this last big project. You are not alone. Keep up the good work.
