R.Rivera's Reflection #6 - January 07, 2014

Reflection #6

I am very satisfied with this course.  I felt very overwhelmed in the beginning of the semester, especially since the internet (WiFi) at my house was down for a little.  I was determined to continue with this class and make the proper adjustments so that I could do assignments on a timely manner.  It really helped that Dr. Rivera included examples of the assignments.  As I completed my assignments I was able to use the rubrics for each assignments to guide me in getting the highest grade I am able to get.

As I was reading and responding to the other members' input in the forums, I came across a classroom tool that I haven't heard of.  After researching more about the Promethean Board, I ended up clicking links that would direct me to what I would see promoting effective literacy.  I believe that the Promethean Planet was intended to assist those teachers that were given a Promethean Board. The resources can be used without having a Promethean Board.
