The second literacy website I chose was HaveFunTeaching (http://www.havefunteaching.com/). I use this website all the time and have it bookmarked on my web browser. I love it!
The website is so easy to navigate through because all the resources are nicely organized into categories. It is user-friendly and you don’t need to start an account to access all the great resources. Although it is great for finding materials for all core content areas, HaveFunTeaching places an important emphasis on the subject of language arts. The site serves as a useful resource center for promoting literacy through providing access to free worksheets and other printables, as well as educational digital media.
The site assists and eases the process of preparing for and teaching lessons in literacy and other core subjects as well. In short, HaveFunTeaching can help leave students with a more memorable learning experience.
