I've decided to use Engrade for my unit of study. This CMS tool is very appealing to me because its user friendly.  I love how this tool offers so many features such as grade book, setting up and managing class activities, creating assessments, analyzing the results of assessments, etc.  The topic of study that I chose for this project is the Five Themes of Geography.  The themes I will be covering are Movement, Region, Human-Environment Interaction, Location, Place.  I will be incorporating videos for students to view and reflect on as well as some free printables that I was able to find online.  I will also be having students explore and use Google Earth for one of the themes.  I'm very excited to create this unit using Engrade because I can already see the endless benefits of using such a user friendly tool. :)

  3. It is great to see my colleague implementing creative ways in teaching her students. Although, we just see each other's face on campus, I get to truly see the creative juices that define you as a teacher. I am eager to see your work, Joshlyn!
