Happy New Year!  This past week has been so hectic.  It is not that the work is hard, it is that it requires a lot of time.  When I was working on Engrade, I didn't realize how much time I spent working on it.  I knew what I wanted to do, so I gathered everything I needed so that all the information was on hand when I was ready to input.  Even with that, I could not believe how much time I spent sitting in front of the computer until my kids said they were hungry, what were we going to eat.  Not to mention, all the research we are doing on the internet tools and the IRA literacy project.  But this is a good thing because I always wanted to research more science sites but I wasn't able to find the time but now, I have to do it.  
     Engrade is a great CMS.  It is so easy to use and so easy to navigate.  My favorite feature of Engrade is that the parents can message me directly from within Engrade and that Engrade sends me a message through me email that I have a parent message in Engrade.  If you are interested you can access my account on Engrade through:   UserName:  marysmith32    Password:  fake01.

    Great site on how you provide many resources to your lessons! I completely understand what you went through. I spent 5-7 hours, the last 4 days prior to it's due date on December 30, working on my CMS project. I am still working on my interactive powerpoint as well. Although, I did promise to have it ready in my project, I was not able to complete it on the given deadline. Nonetheless, I am not going to just drop all the work I've put into it. I will be sharing this powerpoint momentarily.
    On the side note, I commend you greatly. I can't fathom the stress you're going through especially when you have to take care of your children while completing you project. I am just a fortunate, single individual who has all the time to utilize and manage for the course. Your commitment has reinvigorated me once again to never give up and finish what was given to us. Outstanding job Emily!!!

      The amount of time you have both put into the course requirements is commendable. It helps to keep me on track and stay motivated to get everything done.

      Thank you for your support. Although I must say I have great kids who are very understanding. Plus I do make a point to spend quality time with them.
