Engrade and the 5 Senses

I am hoping that I can make this unit more meaningful for my kindergarten students by developing and utilizing online activities, resources and quizzes.
I have never worked with kindergarten students. However, I do believe that this generation is more accustomed to visual aids, and exposed to modern media, including cartoon-animated learning series like Dora and Blue's Clues. I think if you put videos or pictures in Engrade and use it as a set of online activities, or quizzes, it may promote to effective learning. Students at this age are visually stimulated and still exploring their senses. Therefore, this is a great lesson for your kindergarten students! I can't wait to see how you will approach your unit with this CMS!
Although I teach at the secondary level, I think its very important that teachers should try to incorporate activities that use all senses so that activities are meaningful and engaging.
It will be very interesting to see how students and parents will respond to this. I am excited to learn how to effectively use these tools.
